The percentage is even higher in the modified thermal power plants. Gas turbine power station becomes the main power equipment to satisfy the basic power need for this and next century, meanwhile represents the tendency of power equipment development. The advanced gas turbine technology will become the critical and key technology for generating and power equipment for next Century, therefore it has strategic significance and bright prospect to develop GT. Furthermore, it is also very important for our country’s security. We have basis to develop the advanced GT technology, but there still exists a big gap from the other country’s technology. We should first study and research other country’s advanced technology , and then gradually begin our own research, design and establish our own manufacturing and innovation system from a higher starting point so that we could realize localization and reliantization of gas turbine combined cycle equipments manufacturing the soonest possible. This article mainly focuses on the localization and reliantization of gas turbine combined cycle equipment manufacturing. First of all, the foreign and local innovation technology research status will be described briefly, and then the basic concept of innovation technology including categories of innovation technology, basic character and significance will be described briefly. secondly the analysis on the internal and external circumstances which gas turbine technology development of HPEC has to confront will be presented with focus on the detailed introduction on the mico-circumstance of HPEC and detailed statement on the advantages and possibility of localization of gas turbine manufacturing. And then the progress of localization of gas turbine is summarized based on the actual gas turbine manufacturing of
