摘要 摘 要 II II 全面系统探讨汉宣帝和这一时代的历史群体所创立的彪炳千古的中兴时代， 分析西汉败亡的深层原因，这是本文探究的两个主要问题。 汉宣帝是西汉中期的“中兴之君”，幼遭“巫蛊之祸”，是戾太子刘据家族 唯一的幸存者。由庶民登基，深知民间情形，办起事来刚柔并用，内政外交都很 有建树。 他亲政后大力整顿吏治，省刑轻罚，发展生产。彻底扭转了武帝末年社会经 济凋敝的局面。 宣帝时期对边疆少数民族地区有了进一少开发，统一的多民族国家得到进一 步巩固。 宣帝尊崇儒学，并成功运用“霸王道杂之”的治国理念。 宣帝时期政局的弊端也颇为明显。他缺乏创垂范后世典章的政治素质，励精 图治于日常事物中。 他重用外戚、宦官，并未为后继者创立能制约外戚势力发展的朝廷重臣掌控 政局的制度。 后期的他刻薄寡恩、拒谏饰非、堵塞言路，并用巧伪奸佞之徒，贪图起奢侈 逸乐，造成邪恶势力上升，正直人才受到排挤迫害的恶劣后果。这些因素成为西 汉末期政治混乱局面的根源。 关键词：汉宣帝 中兴 吏治清明 Abstract Abstract III III The splendid eternity resurgent times created by Emperor Han Xuan Di and the groups of the times is discussed comprehensively and systematicly, and the underlied causes of the Western Han Dynasty is analyzed Profoundly.They are two main issues of this paper inquiring into,which have positive significance of historical reference for our modern society. Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty rose at the place where common people lived, so he knew the civil difficulty. He was industrious in supervising the government officials and treated his civilians with leniency. He was a promising emperor arousing his all efforts to make the country prosperous and establishing resurgence prosperous times. However, Emperor Xuan had obvious acrid defect in his character, by which he slaughtered much more innocents when he eliminated the dissident influences, distrusted and even to put the officials loyal to his sovereign to death. He believed the officials of following rules docilely and even enjoyed crafty and fawning people. He initiated the source of disaster to abuse their power for the relatives of an emperor on the side of his mother or wife and eunuchs. Emperor Xuan was actually the source of resulting in the Western Han Dynasty downfall. These factors became the cause of political chaos in the last period of the Western Han Dynasty.
