Research Research on The Development and Countermeasure of Sugarcane Harvesting in Guangxi Province Yang Erpeng (College of Argriculture，Guangxi University,Nanning 53 0004，China) Abstract Guangxi is the largest sugarcane production base in China，there has been 26 million of sugarcane farmers engaging in the production，The level of mechanization of sugarcane harvest directly affects the costs and benefits of the sugar industry of Guangxi，and determines the sugar industry of our country in the international market competitiveness，thereby affecting the interests of the majority of farmers．Therefore，study of Guangxi sugarcane harvest mechanization development mode and promoting mechanism，and it has a important significance on sustained，steady and rapid development of Guangxi sugar industry． First this paper takes the investigation and research of the status of sugarcane planting and harvesting mechanization based on different levels of several countries and regions，and makes of the analysis and comparison from the natural conditions，planting area per person， representative harvester harvest mode，harvesting cost and impurity rate and other aspects of these countries and regions．On this basis，it focuses on the main mode of the joint rod joint， cutting segment and segmented Guangxi sugarcane harvest mechanization development．Then， paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the development of Guangxi sugarcane mechanization．In view of the present situation of Guangxi sugarcane harvest mechanization level，it analyzes the restricting factors the development of Sugarcane Harvest Mechanization in Guangxi，such as the terrain，the natural factors of climate，the combination of agriculture and harvest mechanization，government decision—making，sugarcane production scale，sugar and sugarcane farmers interests，small and scattered natural，technical and social aspects，and analyzing the Guangxi model of sugarcane mechanization development by the way of strength and weak analysis to
