Step 1. Warm up.
T: Hello!
Ss: Hello!
T: I’m your new teacher this class, I’m Miss Wan, Nice to meet you!
Ss: Nice to meet you, too!
T: Let’s do and say: Enjoy nature, enjoy life.(热爱大自然,热爱生活) (第一步曲:A happy sound English slogan 一句快乐响亮的英语口号)
( 在课前喊口号,有助于学生集中注意力,促进大脑的兴奋,使学生精神饱满,学习积极性高,注意力更加集中)。
T: Now, in this class, we’ll make you in four groups, if you do well, you can get one sticker. OK.
Step 2: Revision.
T: look at four trees, what colour is it? It’s green/ red /yellow/ white. But which colour do you like best? I like……
T: What’s the weather like today? It’s ……
Step 3:Presentation.
T: Now, today we’ll study four seasons, please look here, what’s this? You can say in Chinese.
Ss: (together) 春天
T: But how to read 春天, let’s look, (sport and ring---spring,) ask a student to read this new word. Then, let Ss read after the tape and teach Ss to recite this word.
T: Look at this picture, this is 夏天, 秋天,冬天then teach words like “spring”. Notice ( supper---summer), (tall---fall), (win , sister---winter)
Then, let Ss read the words like this :春天,春天, spring, spring,spring,spring.夏天夏天summer,summer,summer,summer.秋天秋天autumn,autumn,autumn.冬天冬天winter,winter,winter,winter
