Ⅴ.Teaching Difficulties: help the students use the new words to describe the weather correctly. Ⅵ.Teaching Aids:multi-media, word cards,blackboard. Ⅶ.Teaching Procedures: Step1.Greetings. Step2.Leading-in.(谈话导入) T: “Hello,everybody! How are you today?” Ss: “Fine,thank you.And you?” T:(教师根据当天天气好坏,说出自己的心情好坏。然后说道天气容易影响人的心情,并引入课题Unit3.Weather.) Step3.主情景图导入本单元A.Let’s learn 的教学。 教师借助多媒体课件,播放主情景图,引导学生观察图片,教师提问: “What’s the weather like in these cities?紧接着说: “Oh, It’s cold in Moscow.It’s hot and sunny in Sydney...How about in China?Look at page25,What’s the weather like?进入本单元A.Let’s learn的学习。 1)教师展示A.Let’s learn板块的图片和文字,引导学生进行观察并提问:Who is she?引导学生回答:She’s a weather reporter.教师继续追问:What is she talking about?引导学生回答:She is talking about the weather.并在黑板上板书weather report,告诉学生是 “天气预报”的意思。 (2)教师展示教材中的中国地图,指着地图上的四个地点,依次提问:Where is it?引导学生回答:It’s Harbin/Beijing/Lhasa/Hong Kong.并强调地名的读音,让学生试读地名。 (3)教师做怕冷的动作并提问:I’m in Harbin now.What’s the weather like in Harbin ?Can you guess?引导学生回答:It’s cold in Harbin .教师板书It’s...in (4)教师借助单词卡片,教学四个关于天气的单词:hot ,cold,warm,cool. (5)教师鼓励学生根据板书的提示,运用四个形容词和肢体语言描述四个地方的不同气候特征。 (6)教师请学生打开教材,播放录音,学生模仿和跟读句子。 Step4.Let’s chant. 师生做Let’s chant板块的活动,通过有节奏的朗读和肢体动作加深对单词的印象。 Step5.Exercise. 一.Read and guess. 多媒体展示图片,找单词。 二.选择每组单词中不同类的选项。 ( )1.A.HarbinB.Beijing C.warm ( )2.A.New YorkB.Sydney C.
