计算智能发展研究报告 计算智能发展研究报告 Abstract Computational intelligence CI is an offshoot of artificial intelligence It simulates and implements intelligence actions like learning adaptation evolution etc using digital computing methods It studies the theories and technologies about intelligent systems to solve incomplete uncertain non-structured non-programmable problems The heuristic algorithms and techniques like fuzzy set rough set artificial neural network chaos and fractals theory evolutionary computation swarm intelligence and artificial immune system are the major research areas of computational intelligence Computational intelligence has several special characteristics such as the adaptation of computation tolerance of computation error human like processing speed human like error rate Computational intelligence is further closely associated with soft computing machine learning and cybernetics Since Prof JC Bezedek first introduced the concept of computational intelligence in 1992 it has been developed quickly in the past years IEEE Computational Intelligence Society started the IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence in 1994 Now there are over 10 international conferences about computational intelligence in the whole world every year Over 10 international journals have been published by different presses and research organizations Many key universities and institutes set up research groups or laboratories for computation intelligence Many researchers from other fields like computer science cybernetics automation telecommunication information security economics and management become more and more interested in computational intelligence Computational intelligence techniques and methods have been applied successfully in some application systems in these fields In this report the basic idea of computational intelligence and its development in the past years will be discussed In the first section the concept of computational intelligence
