II II Abstract Laser cutting is using laser that focused into a very small spot laser beam to cut the cloth. When the laser beam irradiate to the surface of cloth, its energy turns into heat instantly. The cloth will be melted by the heat, forming the slit, so that cloth was cut. Compared with the traditional cutting, laser cutting has following advantages, such as high speed, high precision, good quality, computer control and easy to realize automated cutting. So ihas been widely used in garment processing industry. This dissertation presents the architecture of laser cutting control system.
