In this paper, based on the transm ission properties of fiberBragg grating, w e design d ifferent size fiber Bragg grating geophones, and do great deal of emu lation research of the transm ission characteristics of fiber Bragg grating geophone in virtue of finite element analysis, then the influence of some key parameters, such as fiberBragg grating w avelength, mass size, fiber length, etc. on the characterstics of the geophones are d iscussed in details and the appropriate structural parameters are presented.
