Research Research on Marxist Humanistic Education Thought JIANG Ding Abstract Being the world’s largest developing country，China is stiiI at the early stage of development，which is the fundamental reality of the country．Since the reform and opening up in 1978，enormous changes have been occurring in al l aspects of the country，withachievements attracting worldwide attention． Despite the earth—shaking changes，there are also some problems，such as moral decline，distorted values，lack of integrity，indifferent ideals and beliefs and so on．The generation and exi stence of these problems put forward new challenge，which，due to the fundamental，is thehumanistic education，to the current spiritual civilization．The Chinese—style of inheriting，developing and applyingthe thought on Marxist Humanistic Education is of a far——reaching theoretical and practical significance．Since the proposal of adhering to the people——oriented thought and thoroughly implementing the Scientific Outlook of Development at the third Plenary Session of the 16th Central Committee，the state and SOCiety started to address people’s education．。Ever since the 18th CPC National Congress， under the background of ”Four—Pronged COmprehensives” strategic layout proposed byXi Jinping as general secretary of the CPC Central Committee， namely， finishing buiIding a moderately prosperous society： deepening reform：advancing the law—based governance of China and strengthening party self—discipline．It is of practical importance to make a thorough and meticulous study of the MarxistHumanistic Education Thought and to explore the issue of promoting its Chinese—style and modernization．With the humanistic education thoughts in antient Greece，the Renaissance and Enlightenment as the breakthroughpoint，this thesis made an inductive analysis of the theoretical origin of humanistic education thoughts and its influence on the generation of Marxian Humanistic Education．After exploring and analyzing the process of humanistic education
