Research into settlement and stability of the high loess slope supporting by greening protection and anti-sliding piles

ABSTRACT
With the increasing investment of infrastructure, the railway and highway construction has developed rapidly in our country. During the road construction, the roadbed problems of the high slope stability become a prominent engineering problem. In this paper, the theoretical calculation and numerical analysis are employed to reveal the high loess slope stability characteristics of the roadbed deformation from the perspective of the slope. It can provide reasonable reference data for the design and construction of the high loess slope roadbed.
Through the study on settlement of foundation, found that the classic settlement formula believes that the thin compressed layer of foundation compressive modulus is a constant. This method has some reference to conventional foundation settlement calculation, but obviously does not suitable for calculation of high - filling embankment settlement. Because of the development of construction, the soil is compressed under the gravity of the upper soil, and compression modulus also is changed. In this paper, on the basis of surveying the project and collecting the existing data, the data are analyzed by curve fitting. The method of application of calculus to quantify the unconfined compression modulus of the change in the construction process and deduced the high slope settlement calculation of integral formula. In order to verify the rationality of the high slope settlement calculation
of integral formula, this article also relies on the finite element software to simulated
the slope settlement , the simulation includes two kinds of circumstances, not consider and consider compression modulus variation in construction process. Throu
