In the process of engineering operation, the gate runaway of hoist is a prone accident and a common fault, which has great hidden dangers to the safe operation of the project. The causes and hazards of gate runaway of the hoist gate were analyzed in detail. By installing a speed sensor device on the output shaft side of the three-phase asynchronous motor of the fixed winch hoist with the coaxial main and auxiliary drum of Wanfu Brake, The signal generated by the gate runaway was input into the motor control loop to guide the motor into the braking condition, so as to make the gate drop steadily and uniformly, which could effectively avoid the occurrence of the gate runaway accident.
