— — PAGE 2— 新疆医科大学医学硕士学位论文 Study of the Pattern of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Chronic Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura Treated with Glucocorticoid Postgraduate: Du Xiao-jun Supervisor: Prof. Bai Yu-sheng ABSTRACT Objectiv: To observe the characteristic of the Chinese medicine patterns of Chronic Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura(CITP) before and after glucocorticoid treatment. Methods：Syndrome observation tabulation included main syndromes,tongue furs, and the pulse manifestations in the course of glucocorticoid treatment of CITP . After the experiment the person in charge of the experiment determined the type of pattern according to the unified pattern identification analysed the result . Result: 1.113 Patients were enrolled,including 27 Male (23.89%),86 Female(76.11%), Male: Female=3.19:1. The average age was 39±18 years old (14～81).2.The major pattern types were vacuous qi failing to contain the blood (35.4%) and dual vacuity of qi and yin (25.1%) before the glucocorticoid treatment .But the major pattern types were effulgent yin depletion fire (34.51%) , dual vacuity of qi and yin (24.55%),and qi failing to contain the blood (14.16%) after glucocorticoid treatment 3. Before the glucocorticoid treatment , the major pattern types were fatigued spirit and laziness to speak (56.64%), dizzy head and vision (38.94%),dry mouth with small fluid intake (37.17%),insomnia (28.32%). After glucocorticoid treatment, the major symptoms were dizzy head and vision (54.87%), night sweating (40.71%), fatigued spirit and lack of strength (38.94%), dry mouth with small fluid intake (38.94%), insomnia (35.4%), vexing heat in the five hearts (35.4%).The symptoms changed significantly.The series symptoms of vacuous of yin such as dry mouth with small fluid intake、night sweating、vexing heat in the five hearts increased while the series symptoms of vacuous of qi decreased such as fatigued spirit and lack of strength,low food intake and torpid int
