Most of the management of the digital city management is based on the two-dimensional map, due to the 2D map objects are abstract symbols, which led to the 2D GIS in the application of digital city management has been limited, and it is not conducive to the effective management of paraprofessionals. The emergence of 3D simulation and 3D street landscape have brought new vigor to the digital cuty management. But the 3D model has no data structure, also lack of the ability of spatial analysis, which is common called a piece of leather by people. based on this, this paper proposed the design and implementation of 3D digital city management based database.so as to not only show the city part, but also query properties. By using 3D visualization technology to manage the urban components, each component of the urban scene will be showed fast and truely in three-dimensional way to the manager, query and analysis capabilities for city parts management provides the certain reference value.
