华中科技大学硕士学位论文 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract In order to promote the rapid development of the national economy and of information technology in society, triple play policy through the integration of society in all aspects of the information industrial resources, can better promote the development of national economy and the improvement of peoples living level of service. In the background of the triple play policy, all kinds of radio and television enterprises’ development will face a complicated situation and severe challenges unprecedented, soliciting a comprehensive strategic transformation. Particularly, radio and television enterprises competing with the three major telecom operators have to make choices between 1) to launch a fierce competition; 2) to carry out a wide range of cooperation. The purpose of this study is to combine the opportunity of the national reform of the cultural system, and to find out a suitable survival way for operators of radio and television networks, through in-depth analysis of the operational status quo of the radio and television operators in the context of the triple play policy. Therefore, this thesis introduces the background and significance of the research at first, then to investigate the practices of Western developed countries on the development strategies of the triple play. Furthermore, according to the National Administration of Radio, Film and Television on the triple play related policies and regulations as well as the practices of the radio and television network operators within the second batch of pilot cities, this thesis conducted a thorough situation analysis, and points out that the development of innovation is the absolute principle to follow and efforts should be made to gain a win-win situation.
