华中科技大学博士学位论文Abstract 华中科技大学博士学位论文 Abstract In this Paper,the mesh node set磁川(n--dimension，M--number of node)has been established by using the value assignment of the discrete Variables．Aiming at the features of the discrete variables of derrick structure within this set．the author has presented and studied direct heuristic methods(i～e pattem displacement method of discrete variable． revolution axis method of discrete variable，complex method of discrete variable)，The exploring direction，step and procedure of these methods have been decided on the basis of the magnitude and distribution of the discrete variables．In simple example studies，it has been found that these methods are suitable for the small—scale problems in which the convergence is relatively quick but they are unadvisable to relatively large-scale problems such as the solution of optimization design of derrick geometry because of the their lower convergence and being accompanied by a large amount of calculation．Therefore，the following research has been further carried out． The concept of the virtual 3-D space is presented in the first and the relevant theorems were proved．The virtual mesh and real mesh paRem heuristic methods are proposed； secondly,based on this the principle to narrow the value—assignable range is discussed according to the features of derrick geometry and the mechanical conditions，this is the foundation for the reduction of the computational work；thirdly,merged the program segment of virtual·real mesh pattem heuristic method to the methodical library of the previous(HH)optimization program system and successfully carried out the optimization design calculation on the derrick structure on the basis of finite element analysis．As a result，this practice has decreased the material consumption by 19．7％，not only satisfying the manufacturing demand of oil derrick geometry,but also demonstrating the validity and feasibility of the concept of virtual space．provided a general thinking model for exp
