内容摘要本文从文化角度考察翻译中保持源语差异的必要性与可行性。翻译是两种语 内容摘要 本文从文化角度考察翻译中保持源语差异的必要性与可行性。翻译是两种语 言的交流活动，同时也是文化的交流活动，翻译应当不断促进不同文化的交流和 沟通。作为“文化使者”，译者不仅应准确传达原文中的语言信息，也要向读者 介绍和传递源语中的文化异质成分。 本文对异化法这种特殊的翻译手法从其方式、影响等方面也作了详细的说明 和解释，并通过考察翻译实践中一些涉及异化法的使用的翻译现象和实例对本文 论点加以证明，即：译者应采取必要措施以保持源语的差异性，从而使外国作品 的“异国情调”德以忠实传递，以满足读者要求了解异域文化的需求。 关键词：文化，异化，源语差异，文学翻译 AbstractThis Abstract This thesis is mainly about the necessity and feasibility of rctailling cultural diversity in$OUree language in translation practice from the perspective of cultural exchange．Translation is not only transformation between two different symbols，but also，and more importantly,a link between two cultures．And it should be able to undertake the task雏tO the cultural exchange and communication．A translator,as a ‘cultural messenger’，should not only precisely transfer the linguistic information involved in the source language，but also introduce the“cultural diversity’or “foreignness’in the SOUrcc language to the target language readers． The writer attaches great importance to the preservation of the cultural diversity or foreignness as far as possible in the practice ofliterary translation．It is claimed that translation aims at cultural communication,which implies that to help people of different language communities gain access to foreign culture is one ofthe basic tasks oftranslation．From this point ofview,we gall say that in translation we should retain the original cultural messages as much aS possible． In this thesis，the writer also explains in detail foreignizing strategy from its theoretical basis to its advantages in the translating practice and points out that in translating literary works,foreignizing strategy should be preferred to domesticating strategy．She then furthers this thesis by discussing in detail the necessity and feasibility of retaining cultural diversity in sourcc language and comes to the conclusion that it is essential to retain cultural diversity in literary translation．In addition,the writer puts forward sev
