Parameter sensitivity analysis for bending stiffener of marine flexible riser

Abstract :According to the characteristics of the for bending stiffener of the marine riser subjected to environmental load and functional
load ，a bending stiffener of marine flexible riser is numerically analyzed based on the finite element method． An equivalent model of the
bending stiffener and the flexible riser is established using finite element analysis software． The effect of different design parameters on
the bend properties of the bending stiffener is discussed． Based on the curvature of the bending stiffener and the stress of flexible riser
distribution ，the structure of the bending stiffener is designed optimally． The conclusion can be used as a reference in the design．
