AbstractScheins Abstract Scheins Career Theory is divided into two parts：One is“Career Anchors Theory’and the other is ‘‘Career Development Theory’．Researches work the first part mainly contain that revised Career Orientations Inventory and that proved hypothesizes，that is，every person has career anchor and every profession has dominant anchor．Research Career development Theory is processed as follows：exploring the criteria of dividing the stages；comparing the needs and values of individual different career stage． This paper tries to apply Scheins theory to probe into the primary school teachers’career planning． As result，seven conclusions drawn as foIlows： I,The reliability and validity of the‘Career Intention Inventory revision scalereached remarkable level，which meads it be applied to native participants． 2，There really exists dominant career anchors in the primary school teachers from north of JiangSu province,e．昏Security and Stability Anchor，Creativity Anchor’Sense of Service Anchor and LifestyleAnchor,all ofthat in accordance with the hypothesis ofSchein’S． 3．Around 28 percent ofthe subjects have more than career anchorwhich tells disagreement of the original hypothesis． 4．Gender and education upper level play significant difference Pure Challenge Anchor’while urban-coantry region factor plays significant difference Security and Stability Anchor，Lifestyle Anchor and Creativity ones,while basic educational level plays significant difference General Managerial Competence Anchor and Security＆Stability Anchor． 5·Age，year ofwork and professional skills three criteria forjudging the career stages． 6．Based the age and professional skills cfitetianO significant difference OCCUrs among primary school teachers’ every level of needs,whereas significant difference OCCUrs according to the year of work． 7．Basing all ofthree criteria,primary school teachers present to have both common values and dm『erence． Key Words： Schdn Career．Anchors Career stage Primary schoo
