佳作論文 學生組 2016 年 12 月 345～371 頁 收音機與電視機普及原住民族家庭之社會脈絡 張鴻邦 ∗ 摘 要 自 1980 年代起，原住民族傳播事務與研究逐漸開展，報紙、雜誌、廣播電臺 與電視頻道先後出刊及開播，原住民族傳播專班與研究中心亦紛成立。其中，廣播 與電視可說是當前原住民族媒體與研究之重心，諸多研究涵蓋了政策、組織及閱聽 人等領域。整體觀之，過往研究共通的前提在於收音機與電視機已經普及於原住民 族社會或家庭。也就是，必須擁有收聽視設備之現象，其後才有閱聽人及提供內容 的電台組織或是節目研究。然而，此項前提卻尚未獲得重視，意即：收音機與電視 機與是怎麼普及於原住民族社會？對此，本研究以收音機與電視機普及於台灣的整 體社會趨勢作為背景，考量原住民族社會在不同時代面臨的特定脈絡，梳理收音機 與電視機普及於原住民族社會或家庭之過程。本文試圖展現在此過程中，國家附加 於收音機與電視機之意圖與想像，與國家之於原住民族社會的看待與想像，兩者係 彼此交纏進而促成普及結果。 關鍵字：收音機、消費、國家教化、電視機、馴化 ∗ 政治大學新聞學系博士班 346 佳作論文 學生組 he Installation Process of Radio and Television set in Taiwan Indigenous Peoples’ House Marang Saway∗ Abstract Since the 1980s, there are obvious development on the affairs and studies of indigenous communication in Taiwan, like newspapers, magazines, radio stations, and television channel. Between those media, scholars especially focus on the radio and television. But there is one question didn’t examine yet: what is the installation process of radio and television in the indigenous society and family? By critical reviewing the national radio and television policy, society context and consumption condition since 1930s, the article attempts to point out that the the installation process of radio and television were coincided with the national imagination of new technological things like radio and television set, and the national imagination of indigenous people. Especially, the political function of radio and television, which means the nation tries to cultivate indigenous people by putting new technology in indigenous family’s everyday life, was more powerful than the entertainment function of radio and television
