Research on Technology Innovation of Economic restructuring in Shanxi province Author: Zuo Daming Supervisor：Wang Wenyin ABSTRACT As coal resources and the national energy base, Shanxi Province facing a wave of issues, such as fluctuating economic growth, singly industrial structure, destructively environmental resources and so on. Only way to solve these problems is achieve the transformation of resource-based economy. Currently, the State Council approved to establish the national of resources-based economy for the comprehensive reform pilot area in Shanxi Province. The development of technological innovation is the most important strategic resource, a resource-based economy, the key to achieve sustainable development and energy source. Therefore, the thesis has researched the role for the scientific and technological innovation on the economic restructuring of Shanxi Province. Firstly, the thesis has analyzed of Shanxi Province as a resource-based economy status and the status of technological innovation. We have found that stimulating effect on economic growth is far less capital on economic growth of Shanxi Science and Technology, through calculating the contribution rate of science and technology in Shanxi Province.This kind of consumption of resources into economic growth based on long-term is not necessary to adjust and optimize the economic structure and to achieve economic restructuring. In order to study the relationship between scientific and technological innovation and economic restructuring in Shanxi Province, the thesis has used cointegration model, error correction model, and Granger causality to analysis the Innovation and Technology in Shanxi Province Economic restructuring has a long-term cointegration relationship, and has one-way causality, by the rationalization of the statistical data of the investment in technological innovation and industrial structure of 1978-2009 years.
