The Research On and Multifunctional Utilization In Laibin Under The Concept Of Ecology Civilization Abstract In a situation where resource is restraining development tightly, environment is heavily polluted and ecosystem deteriorates, the introduction of ecological civilization concept to the study of multifunctional use of land will provide empirical reference for the government departments to draft policies on the sustainable use, protection and management of land in order to achieve sustainable utilization of land. After understanding the connotation of ecological civilization and land-usefunction indepth,thisresearch definestheconnotationof land multifunctional use under the concept of ecological civilization, takes Laibin as the researched region and takes township administrative area as the evaluation unit, and combines with the regional characteristics ofLaibin, and follows theprinciples of comprehensiveness,regionalism, hierarchy, science and feasibility, and starts from the three functions of land use such as ecology,living and production, and establishes the evaluation index system of land-usemultifunction inLaibin based on the concept of ecological civilization, and utilizes the decision-making method of mean square deviation to determine the index weight. This research selects TOPSIS method to evaluate the land use functions of production, living and ecology and its comprehensive function about the seventy township administrative areas in Laibin. In order to make the accurate and consistent evaluation on the evaluationunit and evaluation value, this research combines with GIS technology to grade the ecology function,livingfunction,productionfunctionandcomprehensivefunction of each township administrative region respectively.
