Status quo and Causes of Cheating in Examinations and the Countermeasures

Abstract: N w h w t restrain the spreading f cheating in exams has bec me the f cus f all circles. This paper analyzes
the status qu f cheating in examinati ns and p ints ut that the basic cause f exam- cheating is pr fit- seeking. It als analy-
ses the s cial and hist rical causes and the psych l gical deviati n f the examinee and invigilates. Finally, effective c untermea-
sures against the exam- cheating are put f rward in five aspects: legislati n, h nesty educati n, ref rm f the evaluati n system,
high- tech facilities and belief educati n.
