Translation: Theory and Practice (Chinese to English) Lectures by Zhao Chengfang Course Objective The course is intended to provide a theoretical orientation in general and practical help in particular to undergraduate English major as far as C-E translation is concerned. The course, chiefly through comparison between the two languages, aims at the students’ familiarity with the general C-E translation approaches and some specific C-E translation techniques upon the completion of the course.
