Abstract
With the refinement and specialization of the automobile spare part industry, an
increasingly large proportion of parts are purchased from automotive suppliers.
Chinese automobile spare part industry has a more complicated situation; although
many enterprises have got the ISO/TS16949 quality management system certification,
the risk of failure in their quality management system still exist. The research on
evaluation of the effectiveness of the quality management system is not only helpful
for automotive OEMs in selecting suppliers, but also providing a chance for
automotive suppliers to find problems and improve their quality management system,
which makes the research meaningful.
The paper firstly described the background and motivation as well as the
meaning and purpose of the research, and explained the theory and methods used by
the author , combed research theory and results in the field of quality management
system effectiveness, followed by analysis and summarizes on current situation of
Chinese automobile spare parts industry and the status of their Quality Management
System; presented the main factors which have influence on quality management
system of enterprises witch produce spare parts, built an quality management system
effectiveness evaluation model. Then the paper elaborated on the steps of final
comprehensive fuzzy evaluation method which can be used to evaluate the
effectiveness of the quality management system of automobile spare parts suppliers;
