1、录音机,录音磁带。

教学过程:
1. Preparation
(1) Greetings.
T: Good morning / afternoon! Boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning / afternoon! Mr / Miss...
T: Nice to meet you.
Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
T:How are you ?
Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?
T:Im fine, too. (Im very well! ) thank you. Sit down, please.(用手示意学生坐下)
Ss:Thank you!
(2)Chant
T: Boys and girls, lets enjoy a chant. OK?
Ss: OK!
教师用小黑板出示课前写好的chant,大家齐唱。

(指一名学生问)How many people are there in your family?
S1:Three. (让学生根据自己家庭的实际人数回答。)
提问三个学生之后,教师出示一张自己妈妈的照片(或者是用打印的一张女性人物图画)说:My family has three /... Members. Look! This is my mother. She is short. She likes music.(将这三句话贴在黑板上)
What about your mother or father? Talk about in pairs like this.(在贴完那三句话之后,教师手指黑板上的三句话,让学生同伴之间用黑板上的三句话介绍一下自己的妈妈或爸爸。)
让一名学生说说自己的妈妈或爸爸。
2. Presentation
(1) 上面的一名学生说完自己的妈妈或爸爸后,教师适当评价. Good! You have a happy family!
Boys and girls. (出示Sarah一家的图片,)Look! Sarah has a happy family, too. And she has a big family. Now, lets meet Sarahs big family. OK?

T: 放下大图,出示farmer的单词卡。This is
