His/Her name is …”（并板书） （设计意图：通过问答形式，对这些孩子的名字和外貌进行描述。输入本节课的句型。） 3、Talk about the children in English book and （出示Chenjie、WuYifan等图片）ask the students the questions. What’s his/her name? His/Her name is … Where is he/she from? （通过问答形式学习单词“Chinese”.） （设计意图：利用学生书上熟悉的人物过渡到文本的主人公John，引入文本学习。同时以书中人物的不同国籍背景的讨论，为文本的“Chinese friend”做好铺垫。） 4、通过John的图片，引导学生观看视频，并思考下列问题。 （1）Who is his John’s new friend? （2）Where is he from? 5、Listen again and Circle the key words that can describe Zhang Peng. （3）What’s Zhang Peng like? （4）Read the dialogue after the teacher. Ask the students to read the dialogue by themselves. Then role play the dialogue with the partners. （设计意图：通过圈出描述这个新朋友的词。初步体会怎样去描述人。在对文本了解的基础上，跟读、齐读、分角色读、自由读，到最后的角色扮演。在大量的听、看的输入后让学生进行对话操练。） 三、Practice 1、Play the dialogue.
