教学内容:Reading Beauty in common things
教学目标:
知识与能力:1.The new words and useful expressions in the passage.
2.The uses of the Passive Voice.
3.Try to improve the students’ reading skills----The general introduction of the topic is usually followed by specific details and examples.
过程与方法:Step by step, Do more reading, Do more speaking, Do some reading and oral exercises
情感态度与价值观:Get the students to know something about traditional Chinese art forms and then love Chinese culture and China better.
教学重点: 1. The new words and useful expressions in the passage .
2. The uses of the Passive Voice.
3.Try to improve the students’ reading skills----The general introduction of the topic is usually followed by specific details and examples.

教学流程及内容设计:
Step1.Warming-up and Presentation
1.Show some pictures of traditional art works, at the same time,play a piece of beautiful music to make the students active.
【教学策略及意图】:展示漂亮的图片和播放动听的音乐,吸引学生的兴趣。
2.Present the main topic of the lesson by asking “Hand-making needs you to be patient/ skillful/ careful.”
【教学策略及意图】:这个环节用了两张幻灯片,引出了本节课主题,起到了过渡自然的作用。
Step2. Fast reading
1.Get the students to read the passage quickly, and then find out which paragraph is a general introduction , which paragraph is specific details and examples.
【教学策略及意图】:让学生快速浏览文章,然后判断哪段是概述,哪段是分说,整体把握文章的结构。
Step3. While reading
1.Get the students to read Paragraph 1,and answer one question: What do traditional Chinese art forms show? They show the things that are important in the life , such as love, beauty and family.
2.Get the students to read Paragraph 2 loudly, and then answer three questions: Who invented the sky lanterns? Why did he use sky lanterns? When do people use sky lantern at present?
3.Get the students to read Paragraph3 quietly, and then answer three questions individually: What kinds of pictures are usuall
