The First Period (1a–1c) Teaching aims(教学目标) 1. 能够用英语询问颜色,并能够做出相应的问答。 2. 能够说出一些日常用品的名称。 Language points(语言点) 掌握词汇:名词:color; 名词兼形容词:red, yellow, green, blue, black, white, purple, brown. 掌握句型: What’s this/that? It’s V. What color is it? It’s red. Difficulties(教学难点) 1. What color开头的特殊疑问句。疑问词What修饰color,因此两个词要放在一起,不能分开,回答时一定要落实到颜色上。 2. It’s red. 和It’s a red V. 中表语是否使用不定冠词的情况。 Teaching steps(教学步骤) Step 1 Warm-up and revision Do duty report. Ask students to take turns to do duty report (get students to tell a short story) one by one. Hang the white paper on the blackboard, write the capital letter “A” with a red pen, then ask the students: T: What’s this in English? Ss: It’s an A. T: What color is it? The teacher answers herself: It’s red. The teacher teaches the other colors with the color pens, repeat these words until students grasp them. Step 2 Presentation Do the same steps of the letters list on la as the teacher did in the introduction. Make sure students know these letters and words. Look at the picture and write the letter for each color. (Answers: V, S, Y, W) Chant 说唱 V V V, V is red. It’s a red V. S S S, S is yellow. It’s a yellow S. Y Y Y, Y is green. It’s a green Y. W W W, W is blue. It’s a blue W. Z Z Z, Z is black. It’s a black Z. U U U, U is white. It’s a white U. X X X, X is purple. It’s a purple X. T T T, T is brown. It’s a brown T. Step 3 Listening Play the recording for the twice. Do 1b, listen and repeat. Have Ss practice the conversations in the picture in pairs. Do 1c. Have Ss practice their own conversations in pairs. While they are practicing, move around to listen to their pronunciation and intonation. Step 4 Extension Do you know what these expressions mean? a black sheep 害群之马 green eyed 眼红 a green hand 新手 a white night 不眠之夜 white coffee 加牛奶的咖啡 Step 5 Homework 抄写第S9页图片上的句子一遍。
