What’s he/ she doing?是教学重点。通过对本单元的学习，学生能掌握本单元出现的表示天气的形容词。问天气的句式及灵活运用现在进行时态。 本课时是在上两节课重点学习了“How’s the weather?”“How’s it going?”句式的基础上进行的学习和强化。知识与能力： 1. Match the vocabulary: cold cool warm humid hot 2. Master and use: How’s the weather? How’s it going? 3. Use the new direction words to make sentences. 过程与方法： 上两节课重点学习了“How’s the weather?”“How’s it going?”两句型，本节课采用教师提出问题，学生解决问题、听录音、借助多媒体等方式来提高学生掌握和运用此句型的能力。 情感态度和价值观： 能运用所学知识于实际生活，问候和了解远在他乡的亲人和朋友，增进彼此之间的联系。 教学重、难点： Master and use the patterns. Use the language to care for the others. 教学准备： 1.教师：课件、图片 2.学生：预习生词、课本 教学步骤： Step 1. Greeting and Having a review Say “Nice to meet you ” to all of the students. And talk about the weather with the patterns that we have learnt. Step 2. Presentation 1. Show a picture, ask the students to answer the questions and to guess what season it is. Then discuss the weather. 2. Ask students to match the seasons with the weather. Then lead to make sentences with the new words. 3. Ask to finish 2a. Match the words with the pictures. Step 3. Listening 1. Listen to the tape three times. First time, listen and answer “How’s it going?” The second time, listen and answer “What are you doing?” The last time is answering the question “How’s the weather? ” Step 4. Skill Task 1. Show some pictures and ask to role-play, just like 2a and 2b. Task 2. Finish the blanks and sum up the opposite words. Step 5. Homework 1. Sum up the opposite words we have learnt. 2. Phone your friends or your families far away from you. And ask them “What are you doing” “How’s it going” “How’s the weather there”. Write their answers to discuss. 2010-4-28 教学反思：本课时为本单元教学的第三课时，在本课时的学习中，重点是操练重点句型How’ the weather、How’s it going. 在教学过程中，我们更应该重视情境的设计，但在本课时的教学设计上，情境设计欠合理，应该将教学融入日常生活，让学生在教学中体验日常使用该句型的乐趣。
