教学目标 After this class, the students will be able to: tell the difference between the sound of 26 English letters and 48 international phonetic symbols; understand the meaning of “form--meaning--sound” during the process of learning the 7 short vowels; speak the 7 short vowels smoothly when they look at their international phonetic symbols. 学情分析 The students who are in Grade 7, haven’t learn the 48 international phonetic symbols systematically. Also, they always confuse the sound of 26 English letters with 48 international phonetic symbols. So, it is very important to let them master the sound of 8 international phonetic symbols very well at the beginning of the middle school life. 重点难点 speak the 7 short vowels smoothly when they look at their international phonetic symbols read some words and sentences which contain the 7 short vowels 教学过程 4.1 Period 1 4.1.1教学活动 活动1 【课后 自学】 After the class, the students watch the video which presents the teaching procedures of the 7 short vowels on the computer by themselves. 活动2【课中 展示交流 】 1. Practice by themselves for the seven short vowels and show their practice in the class 2.Practice in pairs for the seven short vowels and show their practice in the class 3.Practice the seven short vowels in words and sentences and show their practice in the class 活动3【归纳总结】 Correct and sum up the seven short vowels they have learned 活动4【作业】 After class, the students watch the video until they master the sound of the seven short vowels.
