Therefore, the “Steam Boiler Safety Technology Supervisory Regulations” (LaoRenGuo [1987] No.4) issued by the former Ministry of Labor and Personnel cannot meet current requirements for the supervisory of safety and technology. Therefore, we have revised the original regulations thoroughly on the basis of making extensive investigations and soliciting experts’ opinions. Now, the newly revised “Steam Boiler Safety Technology Supervisory Regulation” is issued to you and it will be implemented from January 1, 1997, and the original “Steam Boiler Safety Technology Supervisory Regulation” (LaoRenGuo [1987] No.4) will be annulled on the same date. If the existing regulations of our ministry are in conflict with the new regulations, the new regulations shall govern.
