They expect the therapist to concentrate on that individual, working to change him. However,the identified patient is only the symptom bearer, the cause of the problem is dysfunctional family transactions. There are three main strategies of structural family 1.Challenging the symptom (Reframe)(重新解读症状) The problem is not the identified patient, but family interactional patterns. The solutions the family has tried are stereotyped repetitions of ineffective transactions. The therapist’s task, then, is to challenge the family’s definition of the problem and the nature of their response. The goal is to change or reframe family’s view of the problem, pushing its members to search for alternative behavioral, cognitive, and affective response. The techniques involved in these strategies are enactment, focusing ,and achieving intensity. (1) In enactment(活现): the therapist helps the family member to interact with each other on her presence, to experience the family reality as they define it. She then reorganizes the data, emphasizing and changing meaning, introduces other elements, and suggests alternative ways of transacting that become actualized in the therapeutic. (2) In focusing(聚焦) :the therapist ,having selected elements that seem relevant for therapeutic change, organize the data of family transactions around a theme that gives them new meaning. (3) In achieving inten
