Japanese’s Culture—— Mount Fuji ;Mount Fuji,Japan‘s tallest peak, is a symbol of the Japanese nation, the Japanese people as the sacred mountain(圣岳). ;;Around 100 km in less than Fuji, people can see Mt beautiful conical(锥形) outline. The weather was fine, we can see the sunrise from the top, clouds and other natural scenery impact.;The origin of the name Fuji is unclear. A text of the 10th century Tale of the Bamboo Cutter says that the name came from “immortal” (不死) and also from the image of abundant soldiers ascending(上升的) the slopes of the mountain. An early folk etymology(词源) claims that Fuji came from 不二 (not + two), meaning without equal or nonpareil(无双的). Another claims that it came from 不尽 (not + exhaust), meaning never ending. ;
