Number 18 stand up etc. Show the pupils how we link the word twenty with the numbers 1-9. Ask the pupils to count from twenty to twenty-nine. Point to the figures and the words on Transparency. Show the pupils the notice at the bottom of the page. Read out the words for 30,40 etc to 100 and have the pupils repeat the words after me. Practice Ask the pupils to count round the clad very quickly. Each pupil says the nest number. Write various numbers from 21 to 100 on the board in figures. Teaching procedures Ask the pupils to tell me the numbers. Ask the pupils to come out and write a number on the board. Let them nominate a friend to say it. 3. Play the fizz-buzz game with the pupils who know easy multiplications. Choose a number, e.g. 4 and write it on the board. Tell the pupils to count and the class but they must not say the word four, e.g. 14, 24, they must say fizz instead of the number. If the number is a multiple of four, e.g. 8,12, they must say buzz instead of it. Homework Copy the words 20, 30-100 five times on exercise books.
