The students did well on their midterm test. Few of them of the scores were a bit lower than the first test, probably because the test itself was much more writing intensive. However, I am happy with the scores and I have told the students all that they should be happy with their scores as well. 一周愉快，本周收获颇丰，同学们在期中考试中表现不错，个别学生成绩比较上次月考有所降低，原因应该是本次考试的主观写作题比重较重。我对大家的考试成绩很满意。 We had review with Unit 3. The students were learning/reviewing, countable and uncountable nouns, the use of a an, some any and adding s or es. We’re practicing and doing a lot of speaking exercises on answering in complete sentence for every question. There are some new words to memorize and grammatical structures that can help them in answering questions on their test.
