Effects of livestock w astew at er on rowth and physiolo y of seedlin s of two man rove species ( K andelia candel and Bru uiera y mnorrhiz a) in reenhouse potcultivat ion systems were studied under different salinity condi tions. In terms of stem hei ht, stem basal diameter , leaf product ion, max imum leaf area and relative rowt h rate, livestock wastewater enhanced the row th of Kandelia candel and Bru uiera y mnorrhiz a. The effects of salinity and livestock wastew ater on biomass partitionin were si nificant for Bru uiera y mnorrhiz a, but not for K andelia candel . Under livestock wastew ater application, the chlorophyll a and b contents of Bru uiera y mnorrhiz a leaves increased, but the electric conductance had no si nificant variat ion. Wastewater increased the leaf electric conductance of K andelia candel, but had no si nificant effects on its chlorophyll a and b conte
