Abstract: For a class of multi-input mult-i output ( M IMO) uncertain discrete-time systems, of
w hich the states are not fully measured, an impro ed output feedback sliding mode controller was
designed. First, a sliding mode surface function w as established by using Ly apuno function
method and linear matrix inequality ( LM I) technique, with the stability of the sliding mode
system pro ed. Then, a reaching law based on pow er function w as presented to w eaken the
chattering of the system . Simulation results show the feasibility and effecti eness of the algorithm
proposed.
