Id like to stay here up until Christmas. up to the time of (a specified event) 直到（发生某事） Dont open it till your birthday. 等到你过生日那天再打开. 教材例句 （人教8B-2） The tired children don’t get home until 7 p.m. 疲劳的孩子们直到七点才放学回家。 注意：until的用法很特殊 在由until构成的句子中，动词如果是终止性动词（不持续动词），则必须用否定式。 They won’t come back until the end of the year. 他们到年底才会回来。 （come是终止性动词，所以用否定式） Until 还可以用成一个conj 连词 也就是until后跟一个从句 up to the time when 直到...时（为止） Wait until the rain stops. 等到雨停了再说吧. 我不来你不要离开.
