Study on using 16PF personality factor questionnaire (Revised Edition) were administered to 120 college students. The results show that: the only child in intelligence, excitability, strong paternity, dare to and so on factor scores were higher than those of the only child, in strong paternity and dare to a factor of two, very significant difference (p0.01); perseverance, fantasy, sophistication, independence, self-discipline factors such as the only-child score lower than non-only child, significantly in the fantasy, independence, self-discipline difference. In comparison with the secondary personality factors, in addition to affection and alertness, mental health factors, scoring the only child in the other six factors are higher than non-only child. Conclusion: personality only-child and non-only-child College of Tianshui Normal University has the difference, and the only child in a certain extent better than non-only child.
