English is just a tool.We learn it to better communicate.the three varieties dont vary wildly in their pronunciations,but in view of the usage frequecy, mastering American English will make one more socially and vocationally competitive for US dominance in the global business. the second is cultural climate. this factor cannot be ignored when the public choose the language. Due to the immersive effect of USs movies, music and entertainment products on the young generation, American English has become the mainstream in spoken english. then the pronunciation.In this term,I personally believe that American English sounds more natural and is easier to learn,and its casual pronunciation can lend some ease and joy to a formal occasion. the fourth factor is channels of learning. Its obvious that American English is more used in our daily lives.More channels are available for us to learn this kind of english . the last one is its modernity of this language.American English , a later comer in the evolvement of english language, is more relevant in todays society and can proceed with the rapid development of modern society. All above considered, American English is more competitive in todays society.
