Teaching procedures: StepⅠ: Review. 1. The teacher shows some pictures of animals and reviews comparative and superlative degree of adjectives with the sentences patterns “Which…?” “Why…?” and “Because…” 2. The teacher asks students “Do you know which wild animals are in danger?” Shows some pictures of animals and leads to Section D-part1. 3. Ask students to master the phrase “in danger”, then make sentences and understand the new words “wild”, “bear”, “wolf”. StepⅡ: Presentation. Show the pictures in part1 and ask students to discuss the questions in 1. Then make dialogs between the teachers and students. Ask students to master the new words “bamboo”, “whale”, “kill” and “south”. T: Do you know where pandas live? S: Yes. They live in the forests and mountains of Southwest China T: What do they eat?
