教学目标:
知识目标:
1、能听、说、认读本课时主要句型“I have a new friend .”,“What’s his name? His name is ……”。
对话中出现的“friendly,strong”等单词,学生能听懂并理解其意思。
会朗读对话。
能力目标:
1、能在图片和老师的帮助下,理解对话大意;
2、能在模仿、学习、表演的基础上逐步达到自然交流与真实运用的目的;
3、能运用功能句简单描述朋友的外貌特征。
◆情感、策略、文化等有关目标:
1、要继续培养学生热爱英语学习的习惯;
2、教育要学生珍惜友谊,并互助合作,热于助人。
◆教学重点:
1.句型:What’s his name? His name is… He’s?…
2.词汇:friendly, strong.
◆教学难点:
1.发音:his的尾音
2.句型:运用He/She’s…对朋友进行简单描述。
学情分析:
本课的内容是针对四年级学生, 通过之前的学习,学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础,生词不多,主要是在学生对外貌描述表达及相关句型基础上,进行的对话 教学。通过 学习John与妈妈之间的对话,理解句型“I have a new friend .”,“What’s his name? His name is …He’s …”,并能加以运用。
课前准备:
1.几张班里同学的照片或者课本人物的图片,以及一个小书包。
2.John和他妈妈的面具或图片。
3.课件和教材相配套的教学视频。

Step 1 Warm-Up
Greetings!

T: Hello, boys and girls! I'm your new friend. My name is Amber . Nice to meet you. Ss:Nice to meet you too.
T: Thank you. May I know you more?
T(选择2-3名学生):Hello/Good morning/Nice to meet you… what’s your name?
S:M y name is…:
T:(转述) His/Her name is…look! He/She has long hair/short hair/big eyes…
T(指另一名同学): who’s that boy/girl, please tell me?
S:He/She is…
T:“His/Her name is…”look! He/She has long hair/short hair/big eyes…You can help me.You are friendly.(Class, he/she can help me. He/She is friendly.引导学生说)
女孩时说she is beautiful/thin.
(PPT呈现friendly并教读.操练:领读3遍,小组,2-3学生读。)
