we are the world ,we are the future
someone said
“ we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book,
whose pages are
infinite
”. i don?t
know who wrote
these words, but i?ve always liked
them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. we are all in
the position of the farmers. if we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. if we
plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.
we are young.
“ how to spend the youth?
” it is a meaningful
question.
to answer it,
first
i
have to
ask
“ what do you understand
by the
word
youth? ” youth
is
not a time
of
life,
it?s
a state
of
mind.
it?s
not
a matter of
rosy
cheeks, red lips or supple knees. it?s the matter of the will. it?s the freshness
of the deep spring of
life.
youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over
timidity
of
the
appetite
,
for
adventure over
the
love
of ease.
this
often
exists
in a man
of 60 more
than
a boy
of
20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years
.
we grow old
by deserting
our
ideals.
years wrinkle
the
skin
, but
to give
up enthusiasm
wrinkles
the soul
. worry , fear
,
self
– distrust
bows the
heart
and turns
the
spirit
back to dust .
whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ?s heart the lure of wonders,
the unfailing childlike appetite of what?s next and the joy of the game of living .
in the center of your heart and my heart there?s a wireless station : so long as it
receives
messages of beauty , hope
,cheer, courage
and power from
men and from
the
infinite, so long as you are young .
a poet said
“ to see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower,
hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. several days ago,
i had a chance to listen to a lecture. i learnt a lot there. i?d like to share it
with all of you. let?s show our right palms. we can see three lines that show how
our
love.career
and life
is.
