Abstract
The enlarging of the enrollment scale of colleges and universities has led to the
rapid growth of the number of graduates. The employment problem of college
graduates has attracted wide attention from all walks of life. Changes in the social
environment have also caused college students to improve their employment
competitiveness.Obtainingpart-time experience duringuniversity study hasbecome a
special channel for college students in the new era tounderstand the society and their
intention to graduate.At the same time, the part-time experience of college students
also has an impact on their employment.Therefore, studying thepossible relationship
between part-timejob and employment of college students ishelpful to guide college
students to enhance their personal employment competitiveness and increase their
chancesofemploymentthroughtheirpart-timeexperience.
This study uses part-time experience as an entry point to explore the possible
relationship between part-time work and employment for contemporary college
students. Using quantitative research methods, statistical analysis using statistical
software such as spss23.0, combined with the interview method to explore the impact
of part-time experience on employment. Finally,through analysis, it is found that the
part-time job rate of college students reaches 75.36%.And the employment rate of
college studentswith part-time experience hasreached 54.23%,which is significantly
higher than the employment rate of college students with no part-time experience of
41.18%. The proportion of college students who have had part-time employment in
the form of self-employment is also higher. The part-time experience of college
students has a positive impact on employment. It is mainly reflected in the part-time
experience to make college students clear the direction of employment, advance
career planning, expand interpersonal network, collect emplo
