His music is simple, natural aesthetic, so some people describe his music as flowing out of the heart, sincere and meaningful feelings. During his short 31-year life, Schubert wrote more than a thousand pieces of music, the most famous of which was his artistic songs. Yet Schuberts talent is not limited to the creation of artistic songs; his 21piano sonatas also shine. Schubert lived in the era of classicism and romanticism, and his piano sonatas were well embodied With the evolution of these two styles, he can feel the inheritance and development of classicism and the positive exploration of romanticism. This C minor piano sonata D958 is a mature work of Schuberts later life, not only with Beethoven-style heroism, but also with Schuberts own unique lyricism. This paper mainly expounds the whole article from Schuberts creative background, stylecharacteristics,style analysisandplaying skillsanalysis. The first chapter starts from the background of Schuberts life and briefly understandshislife.The second chapter focuses on themusicofthe first movement to explore the music of Schubert style.
