A book review of Alices Adventures in Wonderland
Alices Adventures in Wonderland (commonly shortened
to Alice in Wonderland) is an 1865 novel written by English
author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis
Carroll. He was an English author, mathematician, logician,
Anglican d eacon and photographer.
On July 4, 1862 ,the author went sightseeing with Reverend
Robinson Duckworth and three girls on the River Thames .One of
the girls was exactly called Alice Liddell ,whom we know is the
leading role of the story.
In ord er to kill time during the journey, Dodgson told the girls
a story that featured a bored littl e girl named Alice who goes
looking for an adventure. The girls loved it, and Alice Lid dell asked
Dodgson to write it down for her. So, he did it and three years
later , the book called Alices Adventures in Wonderland
published.
It tells of a girl named Alice who falls d own a rabbit hole into
a fantasy world (Wond erland) .The creatures there are
peculiar, intelligential and anthropomorphic .She experienced
many fantastic things in wond erland which won ’t happen in the
real world . In the end, Alice found that was only a dream, she was

But for me , of course I won ’t think of it only as a simple dream.
I was deeply impressed with many plots. For example, when
Alice fell d own the hole, she didn ’t cry and cry like a common girl,
on the contrary she showed her brave side to us. That really
impressed and moved me .We can leaned a lot from this pure and
intrepid girl.
