To meet the domestic food demand on less than 3% of the worlds land area, China sets a high demand for agricultural development. As one of the three major industries, agriculture has an important influence on a countrys healthy economic development. But our countrys agricultural modernization level is far lower than our countrys modernization level, agricultural science and technology innovation ability is lower than the developed countries, agriculture has become the short board of our countrys economic development. Aware of the problem, the government is looking for ways to develop agriculture. Agricultural informatization is an important attempt on agricultural development path. The role of informatization in agricultural development is rarely studied by scholars, who mainly focus on the study of informatization in promoting economic growth
