In the last several years various offices have begun to hire experienced outsiders to seed the competence and bolster credentials in this area. Recently, client demand for help in their logistics process has mushroomed, accelerating the search for consulting capacity and leading the Firm’s Worldwide BC practice leaders to call for consideration of what the practice strategy ought to be. This session will review the highlights of surveys of skills and opportunities for those areas of the world that have been completed. Then, a “strawman” approach to organizing and implementing a practice covering North America would be presented to flush-out and discuss related issues; potential geographic differences would also be discussed.
