APPENDIX 1 - BC Country/Region Quality Leaders
Business Consulting Country/Region Quality Leaders have committed to lead the effort of assuring that we deliver quality services to our clients in their respective parts of the world. Each partner has the discretion to determine how best to implement the procedures and guidelines within this document. This may include the following:
Engagement
1. Provide consultation to partners and managers concerning the application of the engagement QA process.
2. Provide feedback for the improvement of the engagement QA process.
3. Selection and approval of Engagement QA Partners on Maximum risk engagements.
4. Approval of the Risk Management Action Plan for Maximum risk engagements.
5. Provide consultation to engagement partners regarding requested changes to our standard legal documents that are business matters (versus legal matters).
6. Serve as Engagement QA Partner when appropriate.
Practice
Conduct annual reviews of smaller BC practices. The scope of the review would depend on the size of the practice and would focus on:
1. Reviewing necessary engagement documentation on high and maximum risk engagements
- Client and engagement acceptance
- Job Arrangement Letter
- Legal arrangements
- Client satisfaction surveys
2. Discussing the business with the practice leader
- Key clients and engagements
- Performance measures
- Personnel skills
3. Providing recommendations to the practice leader and BC Area leadership
