Provide leadership for the conceptual and detailed design of the new process as well as implementation
Be a key resource for the team as a person knowledgeable in the process being redesigned, customer requirements and organizational objectives
Experience
Senior-level manager
5 to 10 years experience
Visibility and credibility within the organization
Proven success in creating change
Knowledge
A solid understanding of Company XYZ’s vision and strategy
Substantial exposure to the process being reengineered
An understanding of the other key business functions affected by the process being reengineered
Knowledge of customer requirements
Skills
Enthusiasm for new processes and an eagerness to learn
Strong project management and ownership
Team facilitation and negotiation skills
Quick learner and adaptable
Redesign Facilitator:
Supporter of the organization and reengineering initiative
50% to 75% time commitment
Roles and Responsibilities
Enable and support the redesign leader and process owner throughout the reengineering effort
Coordinate on-going reengineering activities: arranging and facilitating meetings, ensuring team documentation is accurate and complete, along with supporting all other activities required as part of the reengineering effort
Experience
Middle to line-manager with strong potential for advancement
5+ years experience
Potentially from a function other than that of the process owner
Knowledge
A solid understanding of Company XYZ’s vision and strategy
Exposure to many processes and people within the organization
Solid understanding of the company’s culture
Skills
Good organizational and administrative skills
Process mapping and process improvement
Access to information and data
Knowledge of business justification analysis
